Discuss what was most appealing about the storytelling in this episode. Invite an Aboriginal storyteller to the class. Give a traditional gift such as sweetgrass, sage or tobacco. Have students prepare questions to ask the storyteller. What makes a story entertaining? Have each student research important historical events of the community. Use the advice of the storyteller to develop and tell stories in pairs and small groups. Host a storytelling night at the school.
