Education

Ages 13 to 17
School subjects
Students will research the history of astronomy and time keeping methods of different cultures. Students will choose a great human problem of the past and demonstrate how math and science helped to solve it. Students will also be encouraged to keep a journal of the Moon's phases in order to measure one lunar cycle. Students can investigate the Moon's relationship to Earth, its influence on the tides, etc.
