This film deals sensitively with the subjects of death, aging, bereavement and the cycle of life. It provides a way to talk with very young children about the loss of a loved one and the importance of remembering. Young children can express themselves through speech as well as writing and drawing. The special relationship between the grandpa and grandson allows us to question how values are transmitted from one generation to another.
