Education

Ages 6 to 7
School subjects
Teacher asks students to: - make a “skating rink” for a figurine: stretch a sheet of plastic film or aluminum foil to cover a box, fill with water and freeze; run fingers across the “rink” and note the fine layer of water; - read up on icebergs and glaciers; learn the history of the Titanic; - design a sliding sport; rank drawings in order of the seasons based on the solid or liquid state of water shown (water, snow, ice); glue the drawings together to create a mosaic.
