Education

Ages 12 to 17
School subjects
Students work in groups to summarize information from the film. Ask the groups to think of questions they still have, such as whether there is a safe level of alcohol consumption for pregnant women, what services their community offers and what new research has shown. After compiling a class list of questions, groups choose topics and research and report answers. The film would complement lessons on substance abuse, nutrition during pregnancy and managing disabilities.
