Ages 10 to 13
Students can get into groups and make their own news broadcast. Students in grades 5 and 6 can report on events in their schools. Upper grades could use current events or any unit they are studying. No matter which grade level, each group should have at least one commercial break. They should also include reports on the arts, sports and weather.
