Prior to watching the clip, give some background information as to what the Snowbirds are, and what they do in Canada. Ask students if they have seen anything like this before, perhaps in a movie. Students can go to the following website to view photos and watch videos of the Snowbirds. Ask students to look up Canada's counterpart, America, and look at the Blue Angels. Do students have any comments about the difference between the American Navy and their show vs. the Canadian Air Force and their show?
