A perfect vehicle to help students realize that it is okay to have different needs. Ask students about Coco: Is she distracted? Why doesn't she understand? Why is she afraid? How does the teacher help her? Is Coco a bad student? Ask students to try to put into words what people like Coco need. For English Second Language or French Second Language classes, ask students to identify Coco's emotions, or have them sequence the story.
