Rosie Bonnie Ammaaq is a director based in Igloolik. When she was a child, her parents moved the family to an outpost camp, where they lived off the land for 11 years as generations of Inuit had done before them. Returning to the government-manufactured town of Igloolik was a painful experience that Bonnie explores in Nowhere Land, winner of the Best Short Documentary award at the 2015 imagineNative Festival. Her other NFB credits include Family Making Sleds, made through Stories from Our Land, and The Cache, an interactive photo-essay made for the Legacies 150series.
