Have students break up into teams of four and do a brief search on the Web to find the origins of quadrilles, jigs, waltzes and other traditional dances, and then choose a style to present to the class in the form of a poster. Then, have them search YouTube for a video showing choreography and music appropriate to the style of dance chosen in order to learn it and show the results to the rest of the class.
