School subjects
The teacher can ask students to organize a winter sports carnival for the entire school. Students will learn a Quebec folk dance and put on a show; create a parade float using various materials and exhibit it; write an informative brochure, designed for foreign visitors, explaining our culture and customs through the Quebec City Winter Carnival; and/or do research on winter sports or on other Canadian cities that hold festivals in celebration of winter.
